About Resize PDF Pages
A PDF made from several sources often has pages of different sizes, such as some on A4 and some on US Letter, which causes trouble when you print or share it. This tool puts every page onto one paper size. Choose A4, A3, A5, US Letter or US Legal, and each page is scaled to fit and centred.
Pages are scaled by the same amount in both directions, so nothing is stretched, and a page of a different shape gets empty space at the sides or at the top and bottom. You can keep each page's own direction, so landscape pages stay landscape, or put them all in portrait or all in landscape. A margin keeps the content away from the edge. Pages smaller than the new size are enlarged to fill it unless you turn that off. The pages are redrawn from the originals, so links, form fields and notes on the pages are not carried across, but text and pictures stay sharp.

Frequently asked questions
Will the text get blurry?
No. Text and vector drawings are scaled without losing sharpness. Pictures keep their original resolution, which only looks softer if you enlarge them a lot.
Why are there bars of empty space?
When the shape of the page differs from the new paper, such as a square page on A4, the content is scaled to fit and centred, which leaves empty space on two sides.
Are links and form fields kept?
No. The new pages are drawn from the old ones, and links, form fields and notes are not carried across. Use this tool for printing and sharing, not for forms.
Can I make a page larger than the original?
Yes, leave Enlarge small pages ticked. Untick it and small pages keep their size and sit in the middle of the new page.
Is this different from printing at a smaller size?
It makes a new PDF at the size you want, so it works for sharing and for any printer. Printing with Fit to page only changes a single print job.
