About Weekday Counter
A weekday counter answers questions such as how many Fridays are left in the year, how many Mondays fall in a school term, or how many Saturdays you will work in a contract. Choose two dates and the page splits the period into the seven days of the week, and gives the total days, the working days from Monday to Friday and the weekend days.
The count includes both the first and the last date, and it works on calendar dates, so clock changes and leap days cannot alter it. It does not remove bank holidays or leave. A full year has 52 of most weekdays and 53 of the weekday it starts on, and in a leap year two weekdays have 53. For a count of working days after bank holidays, use the working days calculator.

Are bank holidays removed?
No. Use the working days calculator to take off bank holidays.
Does a leap year change the count?
