About Board Game Score Sheet

Keeping score on paper means a scrap of paper, a pen that works and someone who can add up. This score sheet replaces all three. Set the number of players, type their names and fill in each player's score for each round. Totals update as you type, and each player's place is shown, with players on the same total sharing a place. Add rounds as the game goes on, up to sixty.

Most games are won by the highest score, but golf, hearts and many other card games are won by the lowest. Tick the box to switch, and the places and the leader line change to match. Negative scores and decimals work, which suits penalty points and half points. The sheet is remembered between visits, so a long game can carry on later, and you can copy it as text to share with the group or print it.

Frequently asked questions

How many players and rounds can it handle?

Up to 10 players and up to 60 rounds.

How are tied places handled?

Players on the same total share a place, and the next place is skipped. Totals of 20, 20 and 10 give places 1, 1 and 3.

Can the lowest score win?

Yes, tick the box. Places are then given to the lowest totals first, as in golf and the card game hearts.

Can I use negative scores?

Yes. Negative numbers and decimals are fine, and a blank cell counts as nothing.

How do I start a new game?

Press Clear the scores to keep the players and empty all the rounds.
