About Add an Image to PDF
You may need to put a logo on every page of a report, a stamp on an invoice, or your signature at the bottom of a letter. This tool places a picture on a PDF. Choose the PDF, choose the picture, and set where it goes, how wide it is and how strong it looks.
There are nine positions, from top left to bottom right, and the width is a percentage of the page width, with the height following so the picture keeps its shape. A margin keeps it away from the edge, and the strength setting makes it fainter for a watermark-style stamp. A PNG with a see-through background keeps its transparency, which suits logos and signatures. Other picture types are converted to PNG first. You can add the picture to every page or type a page list such as 1, 3-5. The original page content, links and form fields are left as they were.

Frequently asked questions
What kinds of picture can I use?
PNG and JPG work directly. Other kinds, such as WebP or GIF, are converted to PNG first. PNG is best when you want a see-through background.
How big will the picture be?
The width is the percentage of the page width that you choose, and the height follows. 25 percent is a reasonable size for a logo, and 100 would span the whole page.
Can I make the picture faint?
Yes. Lower the strength to 20 or 30 percent for a faint stamp. A see-through PNG works best for this.
Can I put it on only some pages?
Yes. Type a page list such as 1, 3-5. Leave it empty for every page.
Can the picture be removed afterwards?
It is added as a separate item on top of the page, so a PDF editor can remove it. If it must be fixed permanently, print the result to a new PDF.
