Preguntas frecuentes
What is the difference between margin and markup?
Margin is profit divided by the selling price. Markup is profit divided by the cost. A 50% markup is a 33.33% margin.
How do I find the price for a target margin?
Enter the cost and the margin and leave the price empty. The price is the cost divided by one minus the margin.
Why can margin not reach 100%?
That would need a cost of zero. The margin must be below 100%.
Do these figures include VAT?
No. Work out the price without VAT, then add VAT with the VAT calculator.
