Meeting Planner
Choose up to four places and each person's working hours. The page shows the times that suit all of them on the date you pick.
The page uses the clock changes in each place on the date you pick, so a meeting in the weeks when the UK and US change their clocks on different days is still correct.
Worked examples
London and New York in January
9:00 to 17:00 in both
14:00 to 17:00 in London, 09:00 to 12:00 in New York
Five hours apart.
The weeks when the US has changed its clocks but the UK has not
16 March 2026, 9:00 to 17:00
13:00 to 17:00 in London, 09:00 to 13:00 in New York
Only four hours apart, so there is an extra hour.
London and Sydney in January
9:00 to 17:00 in both
No overlap
Eleven hours apart.
About Meeting Planner
Booking a call across time zones is easy to get wrong, especially when places change their clocks on different dates. Choose up to four places and the working hours of each, for example 9:00 to 17:00, and the date of the meeting. The planner finds the stretches of the day when everyone is inside their hours, and shows each one in every place's own local time, so there is no arithmetic to do.
It uses the real time zone rules for the date you pick. London and New York are normally five hours apart but only four for a few weeks in March and again in October and November, because the UK and the US change their clocks on different days. Half hour zones such as India are handled too. If there is no common time, the page says so and the hour by hour table shows whose day you would need to stretch.

Frequently asked questions
How does it handle daylight saving?
It uses the time zone rules for the exact date of the meeting. Two places that differ by five hours in January can differ by four in March.
What if nobody overlaps?
The page says there is no overlap. Widen someone's working hours or accept that one person will meet early or late, using the hour by hour table.
What does (next day) mean?
It means the time falls after midnight in that place, on the day after the meeting date.
Does it work with half hour time zones?
Yes. India, for example, is five and a half hours ahead of UTC, and the windows are found in half hour steps.
Which time zones are included?
A list of major cities across the world, plus your own time zone. A city name stands for its whole time zone, so Sydney also covers Melbourne.
