About Kanban Board
Kanban manages work as cards on a board. Each column is a stage, such as to do, doing and done, and a card moves from left to right as the work progresses. Seeing everything at once shows what is waiting, what is stuck and what is finished. Its best idea is the limit on work in progress: if you only let three things be in the doing column at once, you must finish something before you begin something new, and bottlenecks show up straight away.
Add cards with a title, notes, a colour and a due date. Drag a card to another column, or use the arrow buttons if you prefer buttons or a keyboard. Set a limit on a column and its count turns red when it goes over. You can rename, add and remove columns to match the way you work. The board is remembered for your next visit, and you can export it as a file or as a CSV for a spreadsheet and import it back later or on another computer.

Frequently asked questions
What is a work in progress limit?
A maximum number of cards allowed in a column at once. When the column goes over, it is marked in red. It helps you finish work instead of starting more.
Is my board saved?
It is remembered for your next visit unless you clear your saved site data. Export it as a file to keep a copy or to move it to another computer.
How do I move a board to another computer?
Use Export board to download a file, open this page on the other computer and use Import board to choose it. Importing replaces the board that is currently shown.
Can I use it with the keyboard?
Yes. Each card has buttons to move it left or right, edit it or delete it, so you do not need to drag.
What columns should I use?
To do, Doing and Done is a good start. Add stages like Waiting for a client or Review when work often stops there.
