About CSV Filter
A filter keeps the rows you care about and drops the rest. Set up to three conditions, each on one column: the city contains Leeds, the score is at least 40, the date is between two dates, the status is one of open or pending, the email field is blank. Rows can be required to meet all of the conditions or any one of them, and you can flip the result to remove the matching rows instead.
Comparisons use the type of value. When both sides are numbers they are compared as numbers, so 9 is less than 10 and £1,200 is more than £950. When both are dates they are compared as dates. Otherwise the text is compared, ignoring capital letters if you tick the box. A pattern condition accepts a regular expression for the awkward cases, and a bad pattern is reported rather than ignored.

Frequently asked questions
What does is between do?
It keeps values from the first number to the second, including both ends. It works on numbers, dates and text, so you can select a month, a price band or a range of codes.
How do dates compare?
When both the cell and the value are dates they are compared in calendar order, so 05/03/2024 is before 17/11/2024. Choose day first or month first for numeric dates.
What is one of?
A comma list of values. The row passes if the cell equals any one of them, for example open, pending.
Can I remove rows instead of keeping them?
Yes. Choose Remove the matching rows. With the condition status is cancelled, you get the table without the cancelled rows.
What is a pattern?
A regular expression, a compact way to describe text. ^A matches cells that start with A, and \d{4} matches four digits in a row. Capital letters are ignored when the box is ticked.
