Valtrinity vs RapidTables

RapidTables describes itself as a site of quick reference information and tools. Its home page is headed Online Calculators and Tools, and it groups its material into calculators, conversions, web design, electricity and electronics, and mathematics. Valtrinity overlaps on conversions and everyday calculators, and goes wider into text, PDF, image, developer, money and website tools.

Valtrinity is a rival of RapidTables, so read our view with that in mind. We read their pages on 18 October 2026 and list every one at the bottom of this page. RapidTables does not state a tool count and has no pricing page that we could find, so this page compares what is listed and what its own FAQ and policies say. Where it does something we do not, such as electrical calculators, we say so.

What each site covers

RapidTables lists 15 tools on its home page in three groups: math calculators (scientific, percentage, fraction and average), miscellaneous calculators (grade, GPA, final grade, mortgage, compound interest and BMI) and tools (online notepad, RGB colour codes, ASCII table, HTML editor and HTML viewer). Below those it lists whole categories, among them electrical, financial, lighting, wire and time calculators, a long run of conversion types, web design pages and an electricity and electronics reference. It does not give a total.

Valtrinity has hundreds of tools. The conversions overlap, since we have unit, number base, colour and pixel to rem converters and an ASCII table, and so do the everyday calculators for percentages, fractions, averages, BMI, mortgages and compound interest. We do not offer lighting calculators or an HTML editor or viewer. What RapidTables does not show on its home page is our text, PDF and image tools, our UK and US money tools and our website and domain checks.

Pricing, accounts and limits

We found no pricing page, plan or sign-in link on the RapidTables pages we read, and no mention of daily limits. We make no claim about limits we could not see.

Valtrinity works the same way for most tools. Calculators, converters and text, image and file tools need no account and have no daily count. Lookups that call our servers are limited to 5 a day, or 10 with an account, and our writing tools to 3 a day, or 10 with an account. Unlimited costs £29.99 a month or £249 a year, starts with a 3-day trial, and raises those caps to 1,000 lookups and 100 writing runs a day.

Adverts and apps

RapidTables is open about its adverts. Its FAQ says ads are set automatically by advertising networks, and suggests an ad blocking add-on to anyone who does not like them. Its privacy policy says non-personalised adverts are shown to visitors in the EU, the EEA and California, and personalised ones elsewhere. Valtrinity shows adverts on tool pages too, unless you have Unlimited.

RapidTables says it has no smartphone app and no offline app, and suggests adding the site to your phone's home screen. Valtrinity is also a website only. If an app or offline use matters to you, neither site offers one on the pages we read.

Languages and accessibility

We found no language switcher on the RapidTables home page. Valtrinity's menus, buttons and headings come in nine languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Polish and Japanese. The explanations under each tool stay in English.

We have not tested either site with a screen reader, so we make no claim about which is easier to use with assistive technology. RapidTables says most of its pages are adapted for smartphone display. Valtrinity has a light and a dark theme and follows your setting until you choose one.

Where Valtrinity is stronger

  • Text, PDF and writing tools, which are not groups on RapidTables' home page
  • UK and US tax, pay, property and savings tools
  • Website, DNS and SSL checks
  • A plan that removes adverts and raises daily limits, if you want one

Where RapidTables is stronger

  • Lighting calculators and an electronics reference
  • An HTML editor and viewer
  • More conversion types, such as voltage, frequency and image conversion
  • Quick reference information beside the calculators, which is how its About page describes the site

Which should you choose?

Choose RapidTables if you want quick reference pages and calculators for electricity, wiring, lighting and electronics, or its HTML editor and viewer, and you do not mind adverts. Choose Valtrinity if you want a wider set that includes text, PDF, image, UK and US money and website tools, with the option of a plan that removes adverts and raises daily limits.

Frequently asked questions

Does RapidTables charge anything?

We found no pricing page, plan or sign-in link on the pages we read. Its FAQ says adverts are set automatically by advertising networks, so adverts are part of the site.

Does RapidTables have an app?

Its FAQ says there is no smartphone app and no offline app. It suggests adding the site to your phone's home screen.

Which is better for electrical calculations?

RapidTables. It lists electrical, lighting and wire calculators and an electricity and electronics reference section. Valtrinity now has electrical calculators too, such as Ohm's law, voltage drop and wire resistance, but no lighting calculators or electronics reference.

Do both sites have unit converters?

Yes. Valtrinity has a unit converter and others for colour, number bases, time, cooking measures and shoe sizes. RapidTables lists many conversion types, including voltage and frequency.

Can I use Valtrinity without an account?

Yes for most tools. Calculators, converters and text, image and file tools need no account. An account raises the daily lookup allowance from 5 to 10.
