About ISA Allowance Tracker
You can put up to £20,000 into ISAs in the 2026/27 tax year, which runs from 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027. You can spread it across a cash ISA, a stocks and shares ISA, an Innovative Finance ISA and a Lifetime ISA, but the total across all of them cannot be more than £20,000. A Lifetime ISA takes at most £4,000 a year, and that counts towards the total.
Enter what you have put into each type so far this tax year. The page shows what you have used, what is left and the share of the allowance gone. If there are months left before 5 April, it works out the monthly amount to use the lot. It also estimates the Lifetime ISA government bonus of 25%, up to £1,000 a year. Unused allowance does not carry over, so the room is lost on 5 April.

Frequently asked questions
What is the ISA allowance for 2026/27?
£20,000 across all your adult ISAs in the tax year from 6 April 2026 to 5 April 2027.
How much can I put in a Lifetime ISA?
Up to £4,000 each year until you are 50, and the government adds a 25% bonus of up to £1,000 a year. The £4,000 counts towards the £20,000.
Do transfers count towards the allowance?
Transfers of money already in ISAs from earlier years, to another ISA provider, do not use up this year's allowance if they are done as proper ISA transfers. New payments in do.
What if I go over the allowance?
Tell your provider quickly. Interest or gains on the extra amount are not covered by the ISA tax rules and the extra may need to be returned to you.
Does the allowance carry over?
No. Unused allowance is lost at the end of the tax year.
