CSV to PDF Table
Paste cells from a spreadsheet or load a CSV file, choose portrait or landscape, and get a tidy table. Column widths fit the content, long text wraps, and the header row repeats on each page.
Worked examples
A small price list
Item, Quantity, Unit price, Total and four rows
A shaded header row and four rows on one page
A value such as "Desk lamp, LED" in quotes stays in one cell.
About CSV to PDF Table
Printing a spreadsheet often gives columns that spill over the page or text that is cut off. This tool turns data into a tidy table on A4 or Letter pages. Paste cells copied from a spreadsheet, or load a CSV file, and choose portrait or landscape.
The data is read with the usual rules for CSV: values can be wrapped in quotes to hold commas or line breaks, and a doubled quote stands for one quote. The separator is found for you from the first line, or you can choose comma, semicolon, tab or bar. Cells copied from a spreadsheet arrive separated by tabs and work as they are. Each column gets room in proportion to its content, with a minimum so none is squeezed to nothing, and long text wraps inside its cell. The first row can be a shaded header that is drawn again when the table runs onto a new page, and every other row can be shaded to make long rows easier to follow. Very long cells are cut off at 400 characters.

Frequently asked questions
How do I get data from a spreadsheet?
Select the cells in your spreadsheet, copy them and paste them in the box. They arrive separated by tabs, which the tool recognises. You can also save the sheet as CSV and load the file.
What if my data uses semicolons?
The separator is worked out from the first line. If it guesses wrong, choose the separator yourself from the list.
Will wide tables fit?
Choose landscape and a smaller text size for tables with many columns. Column widths follow the content, and text wraps inside cells.
Does the header repeat on each page?
Yes, if the first row is marked as a header. It is drawn again at the top of every new page.
What happens to commas inside a value?
Values wrapped in double quotes can hold commas and line breaks. A double quote inside a quoted value is written as two double quotes.
