About CSV Column Extractor and Reorder

Exports from accounting, booking and customer systems often hold dozens of columns when you need a handful. This tool lists every column of your file with a tick to keep it, a box for a new name and buttons to move it up or down. The preview changes as you work, so you can see the narrower table take shape.

It is useful before importing into another system that wants specific columns in a set order with exact names. Renaming and reordering never change the rows, so the result has the same number of rows as the original. Columns are tracked by position, which means files with repeated or blank column names are handled without trouble.
