Rozwiązane przykłady
A number from one to ten
Minimum 1, maximum 10, one number, repeats allowed
One whole number from 1 to 10. Each draw is random, so no fixed value can be shown.
Every whole number in the range has an equal chance, because draws that would favour some numbers are discarded and drawn again.
Five unique lottery numbers
Minimum 1, maximum 49, five numbers, no repeats turned on
Five different whole numbers from 1 to 49, in random order. The exact numbers change on every draw.
With no repeats on, a number that has already been drawn is not drawn again.
O narzędziu Random Number Generator
A random number generator picks whole numbers without any pattern, so the result is fair and cannot be predicted in advance. People use one to draw a raffle ticket, pick a random sample from a list, choose a starting player for a board game or settle a friendly argument. This tool lets you set the smallest and largest number, decide how many you need and get the answer in a moment. Results appear as a comma separated list that you can copy into a spreadsheet or document.
The options matter when you need more than one number. Turn on no repeats to make sure each number appears only once, which is useful for choosing unique ticket numbers, shuffling a set of cards or picking people for a survey. Turn on sorting to put the results in order from lowest to highest. Each choice is drawn from a high-quality random source, and any draw that would make some numbers more likely than others is thrown away and drawn again, so every number in the range has an equal chance.

Najczęstsze pytania
Are the numbers really random?
The numbers come from a high-quality random source, and every whole number in the range has an equal chance of being picked. They cannot be predicted in advance. For everyday decisions such as a raffle, a class draw or choosing a sample, this is as fair as drawing numbers from a hat. Each set is new every time you press the button, so pressing again gives a fresh result.
Can the same number appear twice?
Yes, by default. Each draw is independent, so a number can come up more than once in the same list, just as it would if you rolled a die repeatedly. Tick the no repeats option if you need each number to appear only once. The tool will tell you if the range is too small for the count you asked for, such as picking twelve different numbers from a range of ten.
What range can I use?
You can use any whole numbers from minus one quadrillion to one quadrillion, including negative numbers. The smallest number must be lower than or equal to the largest. The range includes both ends, so a range from one to six includes one and six, which matches a six-sided die. Up to ten thousand numbers can be picked at once, and the list can be sorted into order.
Can I pick decimal numbers?
This tool picks whole numbers only. If you need a decimal such as 3.7, pick a whole number from a wider range and divide it by ten. For example, a whole number from 1 to 1000 divided by ten gives a decimal between 0.1 and 100.0 in steps of one tenth. The same approach works for percentages, where you divide by one hundred instead.
How do I use the sorted list?
Turn on the sort option before you pick the numbers, and the list appears from lowest to highest. Sorting does not change which numbers were chosen, only their order. It is useful for checking that a list has no gaps, for numbering items in sequence, or for creating a set of numbers you can compare with a spreadsheet later on.
