Turning every page a quarter
A 3 page scanned report with all pages turned 90 degrees clockwise
The same 3 pages, each now displayed sideways in the new direction, with the content and page sizes unchanged.
Rotation only changes how the page is shown, so text stays searchable and nothing is redrawn.
Turning one page upside down
Page 2 of a report turned 180 degrees, others left alone
Page 2 appears upside down, and pages 1 and 3 keep their original angle.
The list shows the angle each page will have, so you can check the change before saving.
Informazioni su Rotate PDF Pages
Rotating a PDF fixes pages that appear sideways or upside down, usually after a scan or a photo of a document. This tool lists every page with its size and current angle, lets you tick the ones to turn and shows the angle each page will have afterwards, so you can check before you save anything. Pages keep their original size, so nothing is cropped or stretched, and the page numbers you see in the list match the numbers in the file. You can tick or untick pages as often as you like before you create the new copy.
Only the display angle of each page changes. Text, images and layout are left exactly as they were, which means searchable text stays searchable and the file does not lose quality. Pages that were already turned are turned further from where they are now, so a page at 90 degrees turned by 90 more ends up at 180. Use the odd and even buttons for double sided scans where every second sheet came out the wrong way. The result is a new file, and the one you chose is left untouched, so you can start again at any time.

Domande frequenti
How do I rotate just one page of a PDF?
Choose the file, then use the Untick all button and tick only the page you want to turn. Pick the angle and select Rotate and create PDF. The other pages keep the angle they had, and the list shows the result before you save.
Does rotating a PDF reduce the quality?
No. Only the angle used to display each page is changed. The text, images and drawings inside the page are not redrawn or compressed, so the quality is identical and any text you could select or search for before can still be selected afterwards.
Can I turn a page that is already rotated?
Yes. The tool adds your chosen turn to the angle the page already has. The list shows the current angle for every page and the angle it will have after the change, so you can see that a page at 90 degrees turned by 90 more will end at 180 degrees.
What is the difference between 90 and 270 degrees?
Ninety degrees clockwise turns the top of the page towards the right. Two hundred and seventy degrees clockwise is the same as ninety degrees anticlockwise, which turns the top towards the left. The menu names both in plain words so you can pick whichever matches the way your page is sitting.
Why is my PDF not accepted?
The most likely reason is that the file is locked with a password. Remove the password in the program that made it and try again. A damaged file, or a file that only has the PDF extension, will also be refused, and the message names the file.
