Web addresses get a button you can press to open them, but nothing opens on its own. Contact cards, Wi-Fi details, email addresses and phone numbers are labelled so you can see what a code does before you act on it.

Which pictures work best?
A sharp, well lit picture with the whole code in view and a clear margin around it. Crop out other clutter if the code is small.
Why can it not find the code?
The code may be too blurry, cut off, covered by glare or very small in the picture. Try a closer, sharper picture.
Should I open the address?
Check the address first. Codes can lead to any site, so look at the full address, and do not open one you do not recognise.
Can I make a QR code?
