Informazioni su HTML to Text Converter
This converter strips the tags from HTML and leaves the readable text. Paste a whole page, an email template or a small snippet and you get plain text in which paragraphs, headings and lists are still easy to follow. The message under the result gives a word count of what was left.
The structure is kept in simple ways. Scripts, style blocks, comments, noscript blocks and the whole head section are dropped, along with everything inside them. Paragraphs, headings, divisions and other block elements are followed by a blank line, line breaks stay as line breaks, each list item starts on its own line with a dash, and table cells are separated by tabs so a pasted table lands in separate spreadsheet columns.
Entities such as &, £ and are turned into the characters they stand for, and runs of spaces and extra blank lines are tidied. Links normally keep only their words, but you can tick an option to show the address in brackets after the link text, which is handy for a plain text email where the destinations still need to be visible.

Domande frequenti
What happens to links?
By default only the link text is kept. Tick the option to show the address in brackets after the words. If the link text is the same as the address, it is shown once.
Are line breaks kept?
Yes. Paragraphs, headings, list items, table rows and line breaks in the HTML become line breaks in the text, and extra blank lines are tidied to one.
What about scripts and styles?
They are removed completely, with everything inside them, as are comments and the head section including the page title.
What happens to images?
Image tags are removed. Their alternative text is not kept, so only the text in the page itself remains.
Can I keep the headings and bold text?
Use the HTML to Markdown converter, which keeps headings, bold, links and lists as Markdown.
