The first row becomes the header and a divider row is added.
Right aligned prices from a spreadsheet

Tab separated cells are detected. Right alignment adds a colon after the dashes.
Informazioni su CSV to Markdown Table
This converter turns CSV into a Markdown table you can paste into a README, a wiki page, a pull request or a forum post. Paste comma separated text, copy cells straight from a spreadsheet, or open a file, and the table is written as you type.
Quoted cells and commas inside quotes are handled, a pipe character inside a cell is escaped, and rows that are shorter than the header are padded so the table stays square. Choose left, centre or right alignment for every column.

Domande frequenti
Can I paste cells straight from Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Copied spreadsheet cells arrive separated by tabs and the separator is detected automatically, so there is nothing to set.
What happens if my data has no header row?
Untick First row is the header. Markdown tables always need a header, so the columns are named Column 1, Column 2 and so on and all your rows stay as data.
How are pipe characters and line breaks inside a cell handled?
A pipe is written as \| so it does not start a new column, and a line break inside a quoted cell becomes a break tag so the row stays on one line.
Does the table line up neatly in the source?
The columns are not padded with spaces. Markdown readers ignore the padding, so the table displays the same, and the source stays short and easy to edit.
