Über Image Translator

The image translator reads the words in a picture, lets you correct them, and translates them into another language. Choose a photo or screenshot, wait while the text is read, fix anything that was misread, pick the language you want and select Translate. The original and the translation appear side by side.

The picture reader works best with clear, printed English text. For text in other languages you can type or paste the words into the box and translate them in the same way. The picture itself is not changed or redrawn: you get the translated words as text, ready to copy or download. Check the recognised words before translating, because one misread letter can turn a word into a different one.

No. You get the original text and the translation as text, side by side. The picture is not changed.

Why does the recognised text have mistakes?

Blurry, small or decorative text is harder to read. Use a clearer picture, or correct the words in the box before you translate.

How many times can I use it each day?

You can run it 3 times a day without an account, 10 times a day with an account and up to 100 times a day with Unlimited, within a monthly AI allowance that is shared by all the AI tools. Each translation uses one run, and the number left today is shown under the button.
