Brightening a dark photo
A photo with the brightness slider set to 120 per cent and the others left at 100
The same photo, made brighter by 20 per cent, with contrast and saturation unchanged.
Each slider starts at its neutral position, so only the sliders you move change the picture.
Black and white photo
A colour photo with the greyscale slider set to 100 per cent
The same photo in greyscale, with all the colour removed.
Partial values give a muted look, while 100 per cent removes all the colour.
Sobre Image Filters
Sometimes a picture only needs a small adjustment: a touch more contrast, a black and white look, or a soft blur behind some text. This tool gives you seven sliders for greyscale, sepia, blur, brightness, contrast, saturation and invert. The preview updates as you drag, so you can see the effect straight away and go back if it is too much. The sliders work together, so you can mix a little sepia with extra contrast or combine blur with lower brightness.
Two presets, black and white and vintage, give a quick start, and Reset all returns every slider to normal. When you are happy, save the result as PNG, JPG or WebP. The preview works on a smaller copy so it stays smooth, but the saved file is built from your full-size original with the same settings, so it keeps all the detail of the picture. It runs quickly even on large photos because the preview is drawn from a smaller copy of the picture.

Perguntas frequentes
What do the slider positions mean?
Brightness, contrast and saturation start at 100 percent, which means no change. Below 100 reduces the effect and above 100 increases it. Greyscale, sepia and invert start at 0 percent, which is off, and reach full strength at 100 percent.
Does the order of filters matter?
Yes, a little, so the order is fixed: blur, brightness, contrast, saturation, greyscale, sepia and then invert. This keeps results predictable. For example, sepia is applied after greyscale, so a picture with both ends up with the warm brown tone.
Is the saved picture the same as the preview?
It looks the same, but the saved file is made from your full-size original, so it is sharper than the smaller preview. Blur strength is relative to the picture width, which keeps the amount of blur identical between the two.
Why is my large picture refused?
Filters work on every pixel and need a lot of memory, so pictures over 50 megapixels are refused with a message. Shrink the picture first with the image resizer, apply your filters to the smaller version and save that.
Can I undo a change?
Drag the slider back to its starting position, or press Reset all to put everything back. Nothing is saved until you press Download, and your original file is never changed, so you can experiment as much as you like.
