This text cleaner tidies pasted text in a single pass. Tick the jobs you want done and it removes duplicate lines, blank lines, repeated spaces, spaces at the start and end of lines, tabs, curly quotes and characters you cannot see, such as zero width spaces and soft hyphens.
Below the result is a summary that says how many changes of each kind were made, plus the line and character counts before and after. That makes it easy to check that nothing unexpected was touched. Everything is optional, so you can switch off the clean-ups that would damage code or indented lists.

Najczęstsze pytania
What counts as a hidden character?
Zero width spaces and joiners, left to right and right to left marks, soft hyphens, byte order marks and control characters. Non breaking spaces and other unusual spaces are turned into normal spaces.
Which duplicate line is kept?
The first one. Later copies are removed and the order of the remaining lines is unchanged. Blank lines are never treated as duplicates of each other, so use the blank line option for those.
Will it change my line endings?
Yes, Windows and old Mac line endings are made consistent. The summary counts how many were changed.
Why keep leading spaces for code?
Spaces at the start of a line are the indentation in code and in nested lists. Untick the trim at the start option to keep them.
