Over Redundancy Pay Calculator
This redundancy pay calculator estimates the statutory minimum redundancy pay you are due in the UK. It uses the age bands and rules that apply to redundancies from 6 April 2026: half a week for each full year worked under 22, one week for each full year aged 22 to 40, and one and a half weeks for each full year aged 41 or over. Service is capped at 20 years and weekly pay is capped at £751, so the most statutory redundancy pay can be is £22,530.
Enter your age at the redundancy date, your full years of service and your average weekly pay. Each full year is counted back from the redundancy date, and the age you were at the start of that year decides which band it falls into. The calculator shows how many years fall into each band and the total, so you can see where the figure comes from. Employers can pay more than the statutory minimum, so check your contract as well.
