Joining an invoice and terms
invoice.pdf (2 pages) then terms.pdf (3 pages), added in that order
One PDF of 5 pages: the two invoice pages followed by the three pages of terms, with page sizes unchanged.
Files are combined in the order listed, so reorder the list before merging if the terms should come first.
Merging a password locked file
signed-contract.pdf, which asks for a password when opened
The tool stops and asks for the password to be removed before the files can be combined.
Remove the password from the file first, using the password owner, then merge it again.
Über Merge PDF Files
Merging PDF files means joining separate documents into a single file with every page kept in order. This tool lets you add up to thirty PDFs, arrange them with simple up and down buttons and download one combined document. It suits invoices, scanned pages, contracts and reports that need to be sent or stored as a single file.
Page sizes, orientation and content stay exactly as they are in the originals, so a landscape drawing can sit between portrait pages without any changes. If a file is locked with a password you are told which one, so you can remove the password and add it again. The page count beside each file helps you confirm you chose the right version.

Häufige Fragen
How do I merge PDF files into one?
Add two or more PDF files, put them in the order you want using the Up and Down buttons, then select Merge PDFs. When the result appears, download the combined document. Every page from every file is included, in the order shown in the list.
Does merging change the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied across as they are, so text, images and layout keep their original quality. Page sizes and orientation also stay the same, which means a mix of portrait and landscape pages is preserved in the merged file.
Can I change the order of the files?
Yes. Each file in the list has Up and Down buttons, and the merged document follows the order you see on screen. You can also remove a file and add it again if you want it at the end. The buttons can be used with a keyboard as well.
Why can I not add a PDF file?
The most common reason is that the file is locked with a password. Remove the password in the program that created it, then add it again. A damaged file, or a file that is not really a PDF, is also refused, and the message names the file so you can find it.
How many files can I merge at once?
You can add up to thirty files at a time, each up to 150 MB. If you have more than that, merge them in batches and then merge the results together. Very large files take longer to combine and need more memory, so a slower phone may struggle with the biggest ones.
